KeyPODD 25-Year Warranty

The KeyPODD warranty is valid for 25 years from the original date of purchase.

The warranty applies to the original purchaser and is valid only for KeyPODD products purchased directly from KeyPODD or through an authorised KeyPODD seller.

This warranty covers defects in the product’s materials or workmanship that prevent the KeyPODD from functioning as intended.

If a covered defect occurs during the warranty period, KeyPODD may, at its discretion:

• repair the product;
• replace defective components;
• replace the product with the same or an equivalent product; or
• provide another appropriate remedy.

Our goal is to return your KeyPODD to proper working condition whenever reasonably possible.

The warranty does not cover damage or defects caused by:

• accidental damage, drops, impacts or crushing;
• misuse, abuse or improper handling;
• modification or alteration of the product;
• unauthorised repairs or attempted repairs;
• normal cosmetic wear and tear;
• scratches, dents, discolouration or other cosmetic changes that do not affect functionality;
• exposure to excessive heat, fire, chemicals or other conditions outside normal use;
• use contrary to the product’s intended purpose;
• loss or theft of the product;
• damage caused by third-party accessories or components.

The warranty also does not cover normal deterioration resulting from long-term use where the product remains functional.

If you believe your KeyPODD has developed a defect covered by this warranty, please contact us before sending the product back.

Please provide:

• your order number or other proof of purchase;
• a description of the issue;
• photographs or video of the issue where appropriate; and
• any other information reasonably required to assess the claim.

If we determine that the issue may be covered by the warranty, we will provide instructions for returning the product to us.

Do not send a product to us without first contacting KeyPODD and receiving return instructions.

If the warranty claim is approved, KeyPODD will repair the defective product or provide a replacement, at our discretion.

If the original product or component is no longer available, we may replace it with a substantially equivalent product or component.

A repaired or replacement product will remain covered for the remainder of the original 25-year warranty period.

Where a warranty claim is confirmed as covered by this warranty, KeyPODD will provide appropriate instructions regarding return shipping.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that products are securely packaged when returning them to us. KeyPODD is not responsible for damage occurring during return transportation caused by inadequate packaging.

A valid proof of purchase may be required to make a warranty claim.

If you purchased your KeyPODD through an authorised retailer, please retain your receipt or other purchase documentation.

Unless otherwise required by applicable law, this warranty is provided to the original purchaser and is not transferable to another person.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, this warranty applies only to defects covered by these terms.

Nothing in these warranty terms excludes, restricts or limits any consumer rights or statutory guarantees that cannot legally be excluded, restricted or limited under applicable law.

This 25-year warranty is a voluntary commercial warranty provided by KeyPODD.

It is provided in addition to, and does not replace or reduce, any mandatory consumer rights, statutory guarantees or remedies available to you under the laws applicable to your purchase.

If applicable law provides you with rights that are more favourable than these warranty terms, those rights remain unaffected.
